Menopause

Well, I have had a mind-boggling day today and I am wondering if anyone out there can relate or is it just me having this crisis?

I am a 42 year old girl that has never had a baby! Today I went to the doctor for a normal annual pap smear. At this appointment I was informed that I was not in peri-menopause, but simply MENOPAUSE!

Now, I realize that to must of you 40 somethingers out there, this would be good news, but not for me as I have really been holding out on a pregnancy to bloom and give me this long awaited for baby!

Guess that will NEVER happen! Now, it would be easy for me fall in a deep depression and listen to all of the evil lies the devil is trying so hard to get me to listen to and swallow up and latch onto. I am refusing to do so.

Instead, I am turning to my Lord and Savior to pluck me from the miry pit and set a new song in my heart! For I know that my joy comes in the morning!

My husband and I have been blessed beyond measure! God has blessed us with two absolutely gorgeous blonde headed teenage girls... 13 and 15! Now, we adopted them when they were 19 months old and 3 years old. They are a constant joy in our hearts!

Count it all joy the Lord tells me!
